A Spicy Winter salad
Mustard greens and rocket enliven the lettuce and spinach greens, along with some chopped black olives, finely sliced red peppers, and sliced white of leeks.
If you haven’t got the greens in your garden, they should be around in your local organic smallholding or through your box scheme.
Serve this first and follow it with a rich green smoothie, fortified with soaked dried figs for a boost of iron (I have an old video of Dr. Ann adding figs to a smoothie)
